squeakers is dead!
squeakers died. my flatmate found him dead the other morning. we don't know if the cat finally killed it or if he died of "natural causes". The cat is very sad - she misses her new play mate.
my flatmate buried squeakers in a flowerbed in the park.
he was a very brave mouse.
we are going to mourn him.
we will miss him (well, the cat will miss him more than we do)
good by squeakers - may karma be good to you and you will be re-borne as a cat.

poor squeakers. when i dug his shallow grave i wished him better luck in the next round. i will never forget is mission impossible, james bond style like jump from the wall unit. he was a trooper, an escape artist, a mouse among men (and cats).

sniff indeed.

(on another note, i've been wondering if it is too terribly cruel to consider getting another mouse for sasha. a non-diseased one from the pet store. it will end up like squeakers, though, and that seems so wrong. but it would make her SOO happy. what to do?)

squeakers shall be remembered for ever.

another mouse? i don't know that sounds really cruel on the other hand those mice in the pet shop are probably going to end up in the mouth of a snake anyway - i don't know whats worse. but you shouldn't ask my that; i wouldn't have minded throwing squeakers into the garbage - you were the one who thought that was morally wrong. you know i'm cold hearted like that.
