it's decided i'm going to canada this summer!!! after my traveling companion makinglemonade
told me that due to a severe financial crisis she will be spending her summer working in a refuge at an altitude of over 3,000m for two and a half month i'm taking up liquicat
on her invitation to join her on her trip. i've been in canada before in oh so exiting manitoba but i'm really looking forward to seeing toronto. i've only seen the airport so far and i really regretted not visiting the city last time. this time it will be even better - i will have an inside guide.
plus i will get some more stamps into my passport (i have a thing for that) that is (to my deep disappointment) very empty. being a citizen of the european union you can travel around europe all you want not needing visas any longer but it also means that you don't get any crazy little stamps into your passport. it's probably a sign for me to travel more and go to really exotic places - not that i have a problem with that i would really like to do that. hand me a plan ticket and i will be gone faster than you can say airport. the only thing keeping me back is that i don't have the money for it. it's kind of unfair: now i have time for traveling but now money, when i'm finally finished with my studies and start to work in a real life job i will have the money but not the time - must be some sort of an evil conspiracy.
Anyway...what i really wanted to say is that i'm looking forward to this trip. canada - here i come!
